Center for Disabilities Services - mission is to meet the emotional, physical and mental needs of disabled persons of all ages
Community Living and Advocacy Supports, Inc.- non-profit organization assisting the developmentally disabled
Consumer Directed Choices -a nonprofit organization founded and managed by people with disabilities and their families. Created the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) in the greater Capital Region.
NYSARC, Inc. –family based organization that supports a full range of services for those with developmental disabilities
NYS Office of Children and Family Services Equipment Loan Fund for the Disabled
NYS Department of Housing- Affordable Housing Resource Center
NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal - funding available for Access to Home, RESTORE and NYS HOME programs- awards funds to not-for-profit corporations, counties and municipalities that administer housing assistance for low income households
NYS Industries for the Disabled, Inc. – training and employment for persons with disabilities. Site also lists member agencies by county and provides links to their sites.
NYS Rehabilitation Association - statewide trade association of not-for-profit providers of services to disabled persons

ALS Guardian Angels – grants to help families with expenses not covered by insurance, Medicare, Medicaid
Catholic Charities – Cover a wide range of needs for the disabled and low income families. Go to this site to find your local chapter.

National Transplant Assistance Fund & Catastrophic Injury Program - Transplants, TBI, SCI patient financial assistance
St. Peter’s ALS Center - Veterans benefits
