On the home front, whether it’s getting groceries to a 2nd floor kitchen or laundry to machines on a lower level, you can reduce the risk of injury from lifting, and lugging. At the office, it’s yet another means of increasing efficiency and avoiding injuries.

Dumbwaiters are available in a wide range of sizes, load capacity, travel distance and several configurations in both residential and commercial applications. They require a shaft and a lifting platform and operate like an elevator. When installing in an existing residence/location, remember to allow for the space needed for the shaft, the rails and the motor when you are determining the size of the car.

Most manufacturers offer custom designed and built units if the existing line does not meet your needs. Maintenance and upkeep are typically minimal.
