Bruno Electra-Ride Elite
Having trouble climbing those stairs?
Does the second floor seem miles away?
What do you do when you want to stay in your home but the stairs are increasingly problematic?
Many of the homes in the Capital Region are 2 story colonials or split level ranches. No one wants to sell or leave their home just because it’s becoming harder to get around.
The solution could very well be a stairlift.
Stairlifts have become one of the most popular and efficient ways to navigate stairs when it becomes difficult, whether due to illness, injury, or age.
We carry several brands of stairlifts or chairlifts, so you have the opportunity to choose the one that best fits your lifestyle and your budget.
Our knowledgeable staff will visit your home, listen to your input and take measurements and photos to determine what make and model will work best for you.
A little history of stairlifts…
Back in the day, 20, 30 years ago, stairlifts were cumbersome, messy and dependent on an electrical power supply.
Nowdays,
- Rails attach to stairs
- Units require little or no lubrication
- Stairlifts are battery-operated, so they function during power outages
- The seat swivels so you can easily turn away from the step
- Safety belt and armrests are included for safe comfortable transit

Most manufacturers recommend preventative maintenance every 6 months to once a year.
Barrier Free Systems also rents stairlifts for straight stairs. There are circumstances where a stairlift is needed for a short duration, usually 6-8 months or less. If we have a stairlift in our warehouse that will work for your situation, it’s yet another option to consider.
